At Ecotopia, we have chosen an eco-cycle sewer which pedagogically illustrates the system. Organic material from feces and urin are brought back to the ecologic meadow so the nutrition can be recycled. The greywater from the sewer system is filtered in an installation in the ground and then led to the pond where water plants take over the purification process. Froste Persson, advisor with great experience as an environment inspector in the municipality of Simrishamn, has led the project.
